Refresh.
Refresh. Refresh. This has been the theme of my life the past few weeks as I awaited some news and found myself holding my breath for just a moment as I hit refresh on my email each day. Would it be good news that would move some things forward in some areas of my life or would it be disappointing news that would point me towards other avenues? (spoiler - it was good news) Refresh. Refresh. Refresh. For the past few weeks I also found myself hitting the refresh button in all areas of my life: My closets. My front yard. My backyard. My pantry and fridge. My file folders on my laptop. Anywhere and anything that could be refreshed, I tried it. It's as if Spring has brought with it this intense need to refresh all the areas of my life. But that's what Spring is all about, right? A re-awakening, a refreshing of nature as it wakes from its winter slumber. So, if you find yourself in a restless state of needing to find a way to refresh, give yourself permission to lean in to that. Let Spring find its way into your life. Couldn't we all benefit from a bit of a refresher right now? Maybe in our attitudes? Our relationships? Our views of ourself? Our goals? Our commitments? Maybe now is a great time to refresh.
